Even though LFC struggled at Anfield this season, the fans let players know how much they appreciate their efforts. Kenny Dalglish's men responded in kind. It shows what a close-knit club Liverpool is, and that bodes well for next season and beyond.
Pepe Reina, Luis Suarez, Dirk Kuyt and Glen Johnson were just a few of the LFC stars whose children took the field at Anfield. Some were carried in their parents' arms. Others walked themselves. A few even played a small-sided game on the hallowed turf.
On Tuesday, Liverpool marked the end of this season's home slate with the customary lap of honor. LFC players and coaches waved and applauded their adoring fans as they walked around the field at Anfield.

But the Reds and their fans were joined by some very special guests. Many of the players brought their partners, wives and children onto the field to share in the special moment.
