Before we get into our usual weekly list, I just wanted to take a moment to talk about Alexander McQueen. For those of you who haven’t heard, the designer passed away earlier today Cheap Jerseys, in an act that marks a crushing loss for the fashion industry and those who loved him.

McQueen was one of those designers who set the bar for the rest of the industry. He never followed the crowd and was constantly innovative, boundary-pushing, and truly a cut above the rest. Whether you were a fan of his work or not, if you love fashion, it’s impossible not to appreciate his incredible legacy. He will truly be missed.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

* Halston Heritage launches at ShopBop. Who else is excited?

* Remember way back in the 2000′s, when people wore trucker hats, matching track suits, and rubber gardening clogs with holes in them? Ah, retro style at its worst! Reminisce with this list of the decade’s worst fashion faux pas.

* Tiara, one of our interns who volunteered at Fashion Week in the past, recommends reading The Daily Front Row, NYFW’s go-to newspaper, for all the Bryant Park updates.

* The Day Before fashion documentaries which debuted this past Sept. during NYFW on the Sundance Channel will return for a second season with Alexander Wang, Diane von Furstenberg Cheap Coach Purses, Jeremy Scott and Narcisco Rodriguez as subjects.

* How to Dress for Fashion Week is great style advice, whether you’re going to the tents at Bryant Park or not.
